Gartmore European Absolute Return fund by Adrian Lowcock

Gartmore has announced that Guillaume Rambourg, co-manager of the Gartmore European Absolute Return fund and Gartmore European Investment Trust, has been suspended pending an internal investigation into "breaches of internal procedures regarding directing trades".

Whilst this is clearly a concern for investors, Roger Guy, manager of the funds since launch, continues as lead manager. At present, we are not looking to suspend our 5 rating on the fund and await further information before taking any action. When new information becomes available we will review our rating and keep you informed.
