Mike Kerley has over three years’ track record covering Asian Income stocks. He has been running the Henderson HF Asian Dividend Income Luxembourg SICAV since October 2006. Kerley took over the underperforming Henderson Asian Dividend Income (previously New Star Pacific Growth) fund in November 2009 and realigned the portfolio to meet his investment strategy.
Kerley’s team runs over £600m under the same mandate. The manager has a flexible investment approach to yield, allowing him to move between high yield and dividend growth stocks depending on the market cycle position. Kerley is aware of stock valuations in his portfolio and tries not to overpay for the companies he owns. We have awarded Henderson Asian Income and Henderson HF Asian Dividend Income offshore version a four star rating.
Henderson Far East Income Investment Trust (LSE:HFEL) has been awarded a three star rating. The fund is currently trading at premium and we feel that investors should opt for the open ended versions instead at present.
