Henderson Asian Dividend Income - Upgraded by Jane Kotchkina

Henderson Asian Dividend Income (ex New Star) is our top pick for income from Asia. The fund combines exposure to a growing Asian market with the defensive characteristics of an income fund, which are attractive in the current volatile markets. The fund manager Mike Kerley has been managing Asian income mandates for 3.5 years and is supported by an experienced team. He has a flexible approach to yield, moving between high yield and dividend growth companies as he sees fit. As investors turn to Asia for income, we believe this strategy is likely to continue to perform well.

We have upgraded our rating on Henderson Asian Dividend Income (ex New Star) to 5 stars and will be including the fund in our Bestinvest OEIC range.
