Schroder Income Maximiser - Rating Reinstated by Jane Kotchkina

Kevin Murphy and Nick Kirrage are a part of the Schroder UK Equity team, having worked alongside Nick Purves and Ian Lance (who previously managed Schroder Income Maximiser) for a number of years. Murphy and Kirrage have under four years’ track record managing Schroder Recovery fund, which has over 80% of the stock names used in Schroder Income Maximiser. The stock selection process for both funds is virtually the same and the new managers will not be making any changes to the inherited portfolio.

Thomas See continues to run the derivative overlay strategy for the fund. We feel that there will be no material change to the portfolio and stock selection as the result of new management taking over and therefore have reinstated our 4 star rating.
