Lodha takes lead from Reed

Amit Lodha has taken control of the Fidelity Global Focus fund, replacing Brenda Reed. Lodha began his career in India with KPMG, before joining Fidelity as a Research Analyst in 2000. Moving to London in 2007, he became a portfolio manager in 2008 and currently has responsibility for Fidelity’s offshore Global Industrials and Global Real Estate Securities funds.

Reed, who has been with Fidelity for 18 years, will remain with the company for a handover period before moving to another organisation in New York.

Recommendation

This fund is not currently rated by Bestinvest and Lodha currently lacks the track record to qualify for one. Our rated funds in the Global Growth sector include Aberdeen World Equity and Threadneedle Global Select.
