Julian Thompson departs Threadneedle

Jeremy Podger has taken over Threadneedle’s Latin American Fund from Julian Thompson, who recently left the group. Podger is head of Global Equities at Threadneedle and is also responsible for the Threadneedle Global Select fund.

Vanessa Donegan has been appointed head of Asia and Global Emerging Market Equities and has the overall responsibility of overseeing the investment activities for £6.5bn of assets under management in the Emerging Markets and Asia region.
