Simon Bailey is stepping down from the M&G Smaller Companies fund after nearly a decade as manager in order to start a corporate finance function in the M&G Global Equity team.
Bailey hands over the fund to Louise Nash, who has worked alongside him since she joined M&G in 2008. Nash has experience in UK smaller companies, having previously spent eight years working in the sector while at Cazenove Capital Management, and managing the Cazenove UK Smaller Companies fund. M&G say the fund’s investment process and approach will remain unchanged under Nash.
