Yerbury takes a step back by Tom White

Bob Yerbury has been removed as named manager from a number of the Invesco Perpetual funds formerly under his control. The funds will now be run on a team basis, with named managers: Invesco Perpetual Global Smaller Companies Group (Global Smaller Companies fund); Invesco Perpetual Multi-Asset Group (Managed Income and Managed Growth funds). Yerbury remains at Invesco Perpetual and is a member of each of these management teams.

The change follows Yerbury’s replacement by Nick Mustoe as Invesco Perpetual CIO in June 2010.

Recommendation

These funds are not currently recommended by Bestinvest.
