This Fund represents a concentrated portfolio of Barry Norris’s best ideas. Little attention is paid to the benchmark and performance is likely to be a result of stock selection rather than sector bets taken by the manager.
Norris’s investment philosophy encompasses a belief that the market rewards earnings growth in the long term. According to the manager, earnings surprise drives outperformance and together they should be reviewed in relation to valuation. Norris seeks to identify companies which are likely to deliver faster earnings growth than the market but which are trading at an unwarranted discount.
