Nigel Lanning retires from Allianz

Nigel Lanning, manager of the Allianz RCM UK Equity Income fund and the Allianz Dresdner Income Growth and Merchants Trust investment trusts, retired from Allianz at the end of May. His replacement on the funds, Simon Gergel, recently joined Allianz from HSBC where he ran their Income and Monthly Income funds from mid 2002 until earlier this year.
