Polar Capital Technology - Rogoff takes over
Brian Ashford-Russell, manager of the Polar Capital Technology trust since its launch in 1996, has stepped down from the role with effect from 13 June 2006. He had been on sabbatical since earlier in the year. He remains on the trust’s board and will continue to be responsible for its asset allocation. He is replaced as manager by Ben Rogoff, who had already been acting as manager in Ashford-Russell’s absence. Rogoff joined Polar in 2003 and was previously the trust’s deputy manager and also ran its US portfolio. He has over ten years’ experience in technology, having begun his fund management career at CMI as a global tech analyst before spending four years as a technology manager at Aberdeen.
