WItan IT- Downgraded
By MARCEL PORCHERON 13/07/2006
Following a meeting with Jim Horsburgh we have downgraded Witan to a 2 star rating. Since early 2004, when Witan adopted a multi manager approach, the Trust’s discount has failed to narrow, the corollary of lackluster performance despite ongoing share buybacks. However, investors should note the fund’s bias to ‘value’ managers.
