A UK multi cap fund unconstrained by benchmark, sector or stock selection, the result is a conviction portfolio of best ideas with an absolute return objective.
Bestinvest research rate 3 of the 4 managers either 3 or 4 stars and believe the concept is interesting. Essentially investors are reliant on manager stock selection skills. This fund distinguishes itself from the Skandia Global Best Ideas fund in that the individual managers at Rensburg interact daily and therefore comparisons are made between stocks. By its nature the portfolio of 40-50 stocks will at times deviate markedly from the benchmark.
