Old Mutual have appointed their Quantitative Strategy team to run their UK Select Large Cap fund, previously run by Richard Moore. The team comprises over 15 staff running over £2bn of assets, and is already responsible for Old Mutual’s European Equity, Worldwide Select Equity, Global Equity, North American Equity, UK Equity and Ethical funds.
The Quantitative Strategy team will also take over the large cap element of their UK Select Equity fund, also previously run by Moore - this currently comprises around 75% of the fund. The mid cap and small cap assets in this fund will continue to be run by Ashton Bradbury and Luke Kerr respectively.
