Investec Asset Management have announced that is has taken the decision to bring the investment management of its European Fund in-house. The Fund will be managed by Investec’s 4Factor equity investment team.

Nigel Hankin and Ben Williams, both current members of the 4Factor team, have been jointly appointed as Fund Managers. BlackRock International, the existing investment adviser for the Funds, will cease its investment responsibilities on January 1st 2007 when the change comes into effect.

We will shortly be meeting with the new managers to ascertain what changes we can expect to see in the portfolio.
