Lead manager Chuck Royce has stepped back from management of this fund along with his co-manager James Skinner. He is due to be replaced on the fund by managing director and senior portfolio manager Whitney George with Lauren Romeo as assistant manager - both have worked on the fund for a number of the years with Royce and Skinner. Whilst the team at Royce & Associates (managers of this product) is strong and Whitney George shares a similar philosophy to Chuck Royce, our policy is to suspend our rating pending a meeting with the new manager.
