Edinburgh Dragon IT- Whitley move

By MARCEL PORCHERON 15/06/2007

Edinburgh Dragon IT- Whitley move by Marcel Porcheron
Aberdeen has announced that Jeremy Whitley, named manager of Edinburgh Dragon IT, is to move internally from his position on the Aberdeen Asian Equity Desk in Singapore to Scotland. He is joining Aberdeen’s Global Equity Desk in Edinburgh where he replaces Andrew Preston, who has moved to Aberdeen’s Singapore office. As a result he will no longer be directly involved with the day to day management of Edinburgh Dragon. Aberdeen have not yet confirmed who within their Asian team will replace Whitley as named manager for this investment trust.

Recommendation

We do not anticipate that this change will have a significant impact on the management of Edinburgh Dragon IT, since Aberdeen adopt a team based approach to equity management. However, we will continue to monitor the situation closely.
