Clough has had enough

After 24 years at Schroders, Denis Clough is set to leave the company on 30th November 2007 to pursue opportunities outside the fund industry. Riitta Hujanen, who has 10 years of investment experience (including 9 managing portfolios), is replacing Clough as the manager of Schroder European Fund. Hujanen is officially heading the fund from 22nd October and transition will be completed by Clough’s leaving date. Riitta joined Schroders from Montanaro Fund Managers where she looked after a number of European Mandates. She previously worked for OKO Asset Management and SEB Gyllenberg.
Recommendation
Bestinvest does not currently rate this fund. Therefore we recommend that investors make use of our other rated European funds, for example Schroder European Alpha Plus and Artemis European Growth.
