Simon Murphy is set to join Old Mutual Asset Management, leaving M&G behind. His M&G UK Growth fund was handed to Garfield Kiff on 10th December.

Kiff has been with M&G from 2000, having worked beforehand at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has previously run the Prudential Smaller Companies pension fund and has been a deputy on M&G Recovery and M&G Smaller Companies funds.

Recommendation

This fund is not currently rated by BestInvest as Garfield Kiff has no track record in the UK All Companies sector. Investors should consider a switch into one of our recommended UK funds, such as Liontrust First Growth, Rensburg UK Select Growth or Merrill Lynch UK Dynamic.
