Threadneedle’s head of emerging market debt Paul Murray-John is to leave the firm, ending his 10-year affiliation with the firm. Murray-John is scheduled to leave Threadneedle at the end of January. His departure comes on the back of Threadneedle’s acquisition of emerging market debt outfit Convivo Capital Management last August. Former chief executive officer of Convivo, Julian Adams, has been appointed as the new head of emerging market debt at Threadneedle, whilst Richard House is taking over as named manager on the Threadneedle Emerging Market Bond fund.
We have suspended our rating on the fund until we meet new head of desk.
