Baillie Gifford Emerging Market Growth A- Smith hands over the reins

Gerald Smith has handed over management of the Baillie Gifford Emerging Markets Growth fund to Will Sutcliffe who will continue to work with the fund’s co-manager Richard Sneller. As a result we have removed our 2 star rating of the fund and we favour higher conviction alternatives. Following the change Sutcliffe is relinquishing control of Baillie Gifford’s Emering Markets Large Capitalisation Companies fund - this will now be run by Sneller and Tom Record.
