Eaglet spins away from Webb
The Board of Eaglet Investment Trust plc has announced the appointment of Knox D'Arcy Investment Management Limited as the Company's Investment Manager. The trust is also changing its investment policy so that it will invest in UK listed shares which are identified as having patterns of directors' dealing which suggest that following such signals will lead to superior investment performance. The trust had previously been run since launch by Peter Webb of Unicorn Asset Management. Webb’s management was initially a success but performance has suffered in recent years - the trust underperformed the FTSE Small Cap index by 26% in the 3 years to end of February (share price return).
