Gartmore US Smaller Cos heads to Aberdeen
Gartmore have announced a change in the management of their US Smaller Companies fund. Named managers on the fund, whose management is outsourced to Aberdeen Asset Management, will now be Paul Atkinson, Ralph Bassett, Jason Kotik and Michael Manzo. The fund had previously been outsourced to Nationwide Financial Services in 2007, but their active US equity asset management business was subsequently acquired by Aberdeen. Following the integration of this business within Aberdeen, former named managers Bill Gerlach and Chuck Purcell have now left the group.
