Liontrust First Income - suspension by Robert Harley

In an LSE announcement this morning we learnt that Jeremy Lang and fellow director and fund manager William Pattison are to resign as employees and directors of Liontrust Asset Management Plc.

Obviously this news comes as a big disappointment, and albeit we await further clarification regarding the future plans for Lang’s funds, we would not be surprised to see large withdrawals in the interim period given the incumbent manager’s distinct investment style.
