CIS UK Growth - rating removed by Jane Kotchkina

This fund was originally rated as a large index aware fund. Over time its investment process has gradually changed to a more active strategy and the amount of stocks in the fund was reduced from 95 to 50. The holdings in the fund are now selected using a bottom up approach and the management team aims to exploit stock price discrepancies between the true value and the market price.

Following this change we have reappraised the fund, and manager Joe Walters’s track record no longer qualifies for Bestinvest recommendation. We have therefore decided to remove our 2* rating.
