Earn 2.4% fixed rate inside FundsNetwork SIPP by Adrian Lowcock

Fixed rate accounts can be a good way to gain an element of protection and growth for your money, especially when markets are volatile and investors are looking for security.

Fidelity SIPP, have, for a limited period, made available two accounts where you can earn up to 2.4% on cash held inside your SIPP. You can either choose to invest for 6 months or 12 months with the accounts maturing on 11th September 2009 and 11th March 2010 respectively. The accounts are being offered for applications until close of business Wednesday 8th April.

We would emphasise that these accounts are not suitable for clients who may need to access their funds before the account maturity dates and exit penalties do apply to clients who withdraw their funds before the maturity date.

Characteristics

  • Minimum investment of £25,000
  • Only one deposit can be made
  • No Regular Premiums
  • 2.4% tax free interest guaranteed
  • Choice of either 6 or 12 months
  • Interest is calculated daily and paid on maturity date
