Roger Webb leaves Aviva by Jane Kotchkina

Aviva have announced that Roger Webb is leaving the company for personal reasons. Webb’s funds will be passed on to his second manager, Chris Higham, who joined Aviva in December 2007. Higham will be leading the Aviva Investors Corporate Bond fund. Aviva Investors Higher Income Plus will be managed by Dominic White, who joined Aviva in 2001. Both Higham and White report to Mark Wauton, Head of Credit at Aviva.

Recommendation

The new manager for Aviva High Income fund, Dominic White, does not qualify for a Bestivest recommendation. We have therefore removed the two star rating from the fund. Aviva Investors Corporate Bond fund is not currently rated by Bestinvest.
