Roger Dossett is to leave Henderson New Star to pursue other interests. Prior to joining New Star, Dossett was a member of the Board of Estates & General plc in 1982 and became managing director in 1992. He will be replaced by co-manager Marcus Langslands-Pearse who will be assisted by Ainslie Mcleenan. Ian Carpenter will join as Head of the Commercial Property Department.

In December 2008, we suspended the rating on all New Star funds pending further clarification regarding the financial security and future of the group. Following the acquisition by Henderson, many of our concerns have been allayed. However, there is a lot of work for them to do to integrate the two businesses and we have waited to reinstate any rating on New Star Funds
