Ewan’s the new man on Neptune India
Neptune fund manager Shelley Kuhn has resigned from the group to return to her native South Africa. Kuhn was named manager on the Neptune India and Neptune Asia Pacific Opportunities funds, having been running both since inception. She is replaced on the India fund by Ewan Thompson, manager of the recently launched Neptune Emerging Markets fund. Thompson will also be running the Asia Pacific Opportunities fund, but as a co-manager alongside Douglas Turnbull.
Recommendation
Neither of these funds is currently rated by Bestinvest. Ewan Thompson has made a strong start on the Neptune Emerging Markets fund, but does not currently have a long enough track record to qualify for a Bestinvest rating.
