The post office and Communications Workers Union have announced there will be no more strikes in 2009.
However, we continue to expect some disruption to post as backlogs caused by the recent strikes are cleared. To minimise disruption, we are using couriers to ensure any new applications or switch transactions that do arrive in our office are processed immediately.
To help minimise the impact of the strikes, you can also access online dealing and portfolio valuation tools through your Bestinvest client centre. If you are not able to access the internet and would still like to make an investment by post, we would suggest using recorded delivery which is given preference by the Post Office and you can also track the application form.
