Advisory Service
Our approach
How does the service work?
-
1Define objectives
You will be allocated a dedicated and highly-qualified
Investment Adviser who will ask you to provide details of your
current circumstances and help you define your investment
objectives.
-
2Select your asset model
Once we have a good understanding of your objectives and
appetite for risk, you will be assigned a personal asset model.
Each model provides guidance on the optimal split between different
types of assets (e.g. equities, fixed interest, property,
commodities and cash), and the split of equities by geography and
capitalisation (e.g. small versus large companies).
-
3Plan & develop your
portfolio
Your Investment Adviser will work with you to identify how your
existing investments (if applicable) compare with your asset model
and help put in place a plan for redesigning your portfolio and
highlighting poor performing investments. Portfolios are
constructed using collective investments such as OEICs and Unit
Trusts at their core but can also include listed securities such as
Investment Companies and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). Your adviser
can also discuss the benefits of investing within an ISA or
SIPP.
-
4Review & maintain
You will have access to the 'Client Centre' section of our
website, where you will be able to view an up-to-date valuation of
all your investments at any time. We will also send you a 6
monthly Valuation Statement providing an analysis of your asset
allocation and investment performance. Every year, we will also
offer to review your portfolio and will pro-actively advise you of
any changes in our fund ratings that might impact your
portfolio.

The value of your investments and the income from them can go down as well as up, and you can get back less than you
originally invested. Past performance or any yields quoted should not be considered reliable indicators of future returns.
Before investing in funds please check the specific risk factors on the key features document or refer to our risk warning
notice as some funds can be high risk or complex; they may also have risks relating to the geographical area, industry sector
and/or underlying assets in which they invest. Prevailing tax rates and relief are dependent on your individual circumstances and
are subject to change.
