Overview of ECCLESIASTICAL AMITY INTERNATIONAL

Investing in equities worldwide, this fund seeks out companies making a positive contribution to society and the environment. Businesses with exposure to areas such as tobacco and arms are avoided. Robin Hepworth was awarded sole control of the fund in 2008, having previously been co-manager with Sue Round from launch in 1999. At the same time the objectives of the fund were changed to give it an explicitly ethical mandate.

Investment process

The fund aims to achieve long term capital appreciation and a reasonable level of income
by investing principally in International companies. The Amity International Fund seeks
to invest in a portfolio of companies which make a positive contribution to society and the
environment through sustainable and socially responsible practices. The Fund seeks to avoid investment in certain areas such as companies which have a material involvement in alcohol, tobacco and weapon production, gambling and publication of violent or explicit materials. To achieve these objectives, both positive and negative ethical screens are used.

The value of your investments and the income from them can go down as well as up and you can get back less than you originally invested. Any yields quoted cannot be taken as a reliable indicator of future returns. Before investing in funds please check the specific risk factors on the key features document or refer to our risk warning notice as some funds can be high risk or complex. Prevailing tax rates and relief are dependent on your individual circumstances and are subject to change.
