This tracker fund is an option for investors who want to gain passive exposure to the Asia Pacific ex Japan region.
The fund aims to fully replicate the index as far as is practical. In practice, there will be some stocks that are too illiquid to be included (usually smaller stocks) and there will be some trade-off between tracking the index precisely and minimising trading costs.
Since these funds aim to track an index and also take a management fee, it should be remembered that these funds will necessarily underperform the index.
