Investment process

This fund invests in a diversified portfolio of open ended vehicles and has been designed as a one-stop global equity portfolio. The process is team based, where they initially decide on asset allocation and then fund selection. Style assessment is considered as an important part of the selection process, where funds are categorised as value, growth or rotational in style. The portfolio is then put together on a bar-bell basis, which looks to exploit the best managers at the times when markets best suit their approach.
IMS target fund managers who have an identifiable and repeatable process, while they shy away from less experienced managers. A core of 30-40 funds forms the approved list.

The value of your investments and the income from them can go down as well as up, and you can get back less than you originally invested. Past performance or any yields quoted should not be considered reliable indicators of future returns. Before investing in funds please check the specific risk factors on the key features document or refer to our risk warning notice as some funds can be high risk or complex; they may also have risks relating to the geographical area, industry sector and/or underlying assets in which they invest. Prevailing tax rates and relief are dependent on your individual circumstances and are subject to change.
