Investment process


The Fund aims to provide a combination of income and long term capital growth by investing in a globally diversified portfolio of assets. Exposure will normally be to equity, bond and property investments and the proportion of the Fund allocated to each asset class will be actively managed. Such exposure could be gained by direct investment or through funds, though no direct investments in property will be made. Equity exposure will be limited to a maximum of 85% of the Fund value. In addition derivatives and forward currency transactions may be used for hedging purposes and for meeting the investment objectives of the Fund. Bonds held may be corporate or Government and of any duration and may be investment grade or sub investment grade.
