This fund aims for a balance between income and capital growth and sits between Invesco Perpetual's existing Income / High Income and Monthly Income Plus funds. Fixed interest exposure will be at least 60% of the fund but can be as high as 100%. The fund has the benefit of highly experienced managers with proven track records. The holdings will be a collection of the best ideas utilising opportunities from higher yielding and better quality non-investment grade bonds as well as defensive equities.

Investment process


The fund aims to achieve a balance of income and capital growth through a portfolio of primarily UK equity & fixed interest securities. At all times fixed interest will account for at least 60% of the portfolio, otherwise the managers are free to pursue a flexible and active investment policy with regard to asset class weightings. Fund holdings will be a collection of the best ideas from the managers' existing funds. Within fixed interest there are no formal constraints on the allocation between investment grade and high yield bonds.
Futures may be used for duration management. The UK equity exposure will be selected by Neil Woodford, manager of the Income and High Income equity funds.
