Richard Penny
Penny graduated in Engineering & Economics from Brasenose College, Oxford, and is a qualified member of UKSIP. He joined Scottish Amicable as a trainee fund manager, initially working on UK equities before moving on to manage their Smaller Companies unit trust from 1994. He moved to M&G in 1996 as a member of the 4-strong UK Smaller Companies team which managed some £1.5bn. He joined Legal & General in 2002 as senior smaller companies fund manager, with analyst responsibility for the construction, healthcare, technology and other financials sectors.
