Investment process

The Lombard Short Term GBP is a collective internal insurance fund, which invests into one or more high quality money market funds. Currently, the fund is invested into the Invesco Sterling Liquidity Portfolio, the Prime Rate Sterling Liquidity Fund, and the JP Morgan Sterling Liquidity Fund.
The aim of the Lombard Short Term GBP is to provide security and liquidity to its investors by investing in high quality money market funds. Currently, such funds yield low interest rates, reflecting the high demand for security following the uncertainty and instability of the financial markets over the last two years. As a consequence, the short-term performance of the Lombard Short Term GBP may appear to be less attractive than in times of more stable market conditions. However, as liquidity and capital security remain priorities, the Lombard Short Term GBP will continue to invest only in high quality and widely diversified money market funds.

The value of your investments and the income from them can go down as well as up, and you can get back less than you originally invested. Past performance or any yields quoted should not be considered reliable indicators of future returns. Before investing in funds please check the specific risk factors on the key features document or refer to our risk warning notice as some funds can be high risk or complex; they may also have risks relating to the geographical area, industry sector and/or underlying assets in which they invest.
