Investment process

This fund follows a bottom up stock picking approach focusing on undervalued growth companies. Emphasis is placed on company visits to assess investment opportunities and to track existing holdings. The stocks within the portfolio are often under researched or not covered at all. Historically the fund has demonstrated low beta qualities relative to the Taiwan Stock Exchange benchmark. Coggshall is currently optimistic for Taiwans's prospects on acount of the the opportunities available on the China mainland, the strength of the Taiwanese business models, and the increasing propensity of Taiwanese businesses to take market share from the Japanese. He also claims that the level of corporate governance in the region has improved in recent years. Dealing is on a weekly basis, through ABN Amro, UBS, JP Morgan and Rothschilds.
