The investment objective of the fund is to generate capital growth from investing predominantly in the securities issued by African companies or issued by companies that derive a significant proportion of their income or economic activity from Africa.
The fund has the flexibility to invest across a wide range of African countries and, as well as exposure to the large and liquid South African market, it is likely to have high exposure to Nigeria, Egypt and Kenya.
