Investment process

The fund will invest in companies with a market cap between £50m and £1bn, and will have most stocks falling below the Hoare Govett Smllr Cos index capitalisation max, which is currently around £800m.
Bottom-up stock selection begins with a screen of around 700 companies on the basis of what is most appropriate at the time, e.g. P/E ratios, EPS growth.
Thus the fund will invest in a broad range of stocks, and will favour neither value or growth. Strong management, businesses franchise and finances are all prerequisites.

The value of your investments and the income from them can go down as well as up and you can get back less than you originally invested. Any yields quoted cannot be taken as a reliable indicator of future returns. Before investing in funds please check the specific risk factors on the key features document or refer to our risk warning notice as some funds can be high risk or complex. Prevailing tax rates and relief are dependent on your individual circumstances and are subject to change.
