The fund aim is to achieve a high level of income from a diversified portfolio of fixed interest securities.
Investment grade UK corporate bonds and convertible bonds are predominant in the portfolio. Sub-investment grade bonds may be considered but should be largely excluded on risk criteria. Other instruments are Eurosterling, preference shares and non-Sterling issues.
