The fund aims to achieve an above average level of income through investing in fixed income securities issued outside the UK. To achieve this objective, the fund is invested principally in fixed income securities issued by governments outside the UK. The fund may also from time to time invest in fixed income securities issued by companies quoted on major international exchanges outside the UK.
