Investment process

Capital growth through investment principally in UK large and medium capitalisation companies which, in the Manager's opinion, show above average profitability, management quality and growth.
Although the macroeconomic environment is considered, it is not the main driver behind the investment process. The main driver is stock picking, but house themes will also be followed, such as the ageing population. A number of valuation techniques are used along with a high number of company visits in order to understand as fully as possible the businesses they wish to invest within.
The manager is quite ruthless with his sell disciplines, cutting on the first hint of bad news and true to his philosophy of not falling in love with stocks.

The value of your investments and the income from them can go down as well as up, and you can get back less than you originally invested.
