Investment process

The fund aims to provide a high and stable level of income by investing mainly in a selection of UK and European securities which may include, corporate bonds, convertibles, government and other income orientated securities.
The team use a primarily bottom-up approach although macro factors are considered especially with regards to limiting potential risk. To this end the fund will make use of credit default swaps as part of the investment process to buy and sell protection on an index or underlying credits.
The majority of the holdings will be held with a view to generating income over the long term although some will be bought for capital appreciation purposes.
