Bestinvest rating 3 stars

Overview of STANDARD LIFE PROPERTY PF

The large size of this fund enables it to support a large and dedicated property team, and to invest in large commercial sites across all the main sectors. Investment process

This fund is invested in prime quality properties throughout the UK with the assets held in a mix of freehold and leasehold retail, commercial and industrial properties. A small part of the fund may also be invested in properties in Continental Europe and property developments.
Although the fund has a named fund manager who is ultimately responsible for the fund's performance, it also managed by a large team of portfolio managers and analysts. It also benefits from the resources of the property department, which has a team of 30 surveyors, and supervises all of the administrative matters associated with acquiring and maintaining a sizable property portfolio.
The investment process is disciplined, although flexible, and is managed on a top down and bottom up basis. A property house view sets the tone of the fund which is complemented by a high level of research at the sector and stock level.

The value of your investments and the income from them can go down as well as up, and you can get back less than you originally invested. Past performance or any yields quoted should not be considered reliable indicators of future returns. Before investing in funds please check the specific risk factors on the key features document or refer to our risk warning notice as some funds can be high risk or complex; they may also have risks relating to the geographical area, industry sector and/or underlying assets in which they invest.
