Newton follow a global thematic approach, with their internal analysts generating a buy list from which the fund manager creates his portfolio. Unlike other Newton Funds within this peer group, there is no income requirement placed on the fund. This allows the manager to purchase both growth and value orientated stocks.
The fund aims to beat the FTSE All Share index by 2% per annum in order to achieve its performance target of upper quartile over a rolling three year period.
