Investment process

Although badged as an Allied Dunbar Fund the fund is in fact managed by Threadneedle's investment management team.
The objective is for the fund to invest within a spread of asset classes e.g. equities, gilts, property and fixed-interest securities over a wide range of economies. Although the fund invests globally the major bias within the fund will always be towards the UK, due to the peer group within which the fund resides.
The fund reflects Threadneedle's in house macroeconomic view of the world and will therefore over/under weight geographical locations in line with this view.
