Is there a minimum transfer value?
The minimum combined value of all your pension transfers, together with any new contributions to the Best SIPP, is £10,000. There will be no tax relief as you should already have received it in your existing pension scheme.

How much can I contribute?
You can usually contribute as much as you earn each year into a SIPP, up to a maximum of £40,000. This £40,000 allowance reduces for higher earners. The allowance is cut by £1 for every £2 earned above £150,000, down to a minimum £10,000 allowance for people earning more than £210,000 a year.

How do I manage the Best SIPP?
Your SIPP account is online so you can access and manage your investments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also have a team of pension specialists who are available to answer any questions you have by calling 020 7189 2410. Our opening hours are:
Monday to Friday 7.45am – 6pm
Saturday 9.30am – 1.30pm

If you don’t want to invest across different asset classes or don’t think you will make use of the investment choices that SIPPs give you then a SIPP might not be right for you. Self-directed investors should regularly review their SIPP portfolio, or seek professional advice, to ensure that the underlying investments remain in line with their pension objectives. Prevailing tax rates and the availability of tax reliefs are dependent on your individual circumstances and are subject to change. Please note the term Best is a brand name of the Bestinvest SIPP.
