We’re very pleased to welcome Baroness Ros Altmann to our pension, financial planning and investment seminar at Wentworth Woodhouse. Ros Altmann is the UK’s leading pensions expert and was Minister of State for Pensions from May 2015 to July 2016. As a campaigner against pensions injustice for many years, she is an excellent person to talk to you about the current state of pensions in the UK and how you could be making the most of them.

Wentworth Woodhouse, a Grade I listed country house, is said to be the largest private residence in the UK. Our Head of Financial Planning, Andy Cowan, hosts our investment and financial planning seminar at this grand venue.

At the seminar:

  • Baroness Ros Altmann will discuss why pensions are brilliant, with a detailed look at how pension policy has changed over the last few years
  • Ros will also talk about the ways pensions could form a part of your Inheritance Tax and estate planning and how, in the 21st century, you can now plan for a gradual retirement
  • Financial planner Luke Lodge will talk about how Tilney can help you prepare for retirement
  • You can learn more about the current environment for your pension investments from a Tilney investment manager
  • A Q&A session gives you the opportunity to ask all the questions you have about pensions.
  • Mingle with other guests after the event over lunch
